In my opinion, the logos in general were on their peak around 2008 until 2012 or 2013. Older ones look too unprofessional and newest ones look too simple.

Who remembers when youtube had no 'shorts' 'loop video' and tapping the 3 dots show you only playback speed and quality cause 'cc' is shown beside the vid and when yt had a red gui :) old times.

I do know the Firefox ball less logo is the brands logo. As you can see there are 2 logos during the same year, the brand is still called Firefox so the name is the same.
