I started during assembly season - my total candles rn is around 6100

1. Don’t buy everything - only things you like / will actually wear - feeling pressured to collect every single item is a sure way to burnout.

2. It gets easier once you have been visited by most of the TS - you need less and less from them the 2nd / 3rd time they visit etc.

3. Event currency implemented last year helps take some pressure off candle runs.

4. Candle running is relaxing / therapeutic for me. After 3 years playing sky I have devised my own farm route in order to get 17-18 candles in roughly one hour, sometimes a bit more. I don’t force myself to get to grey candle, and I stop if I’m not enjoying myself, and I don’t even log in every day. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Good job person who collected all those candles - I hope your friends aren’t bugging you for hearts every day now 😂

Easy way to get candles:
1. If there’s no season, wait for season
2. Do daily quest every single day
3. At the end of season, you will probably have thousands of seasonal candles
4. When season ends, all seasonal candles turn to normal candles

Me and my friend farm almost every day for only about 10-15 minutes actively in forest and 10 mins grandma, it is such a blessing, I have about 800 candles now but I mostly have the cosmetics and ts from previous seasons but back then when I started playing sky 4 years ago, it was such a pain to farm, I used to farm 2-3 hours everyday until I got bored and took a break, now its very chill for me and we only farm if we want to/have time

I currently have 470 candles, but I swear, each ts drains them almost completely, but I have time to prepare for the next ts. Yes, I know that I can skip a spirit whose things I don’t need and thereby save more candles, but I can’t do that, I’m a collector

I've never had even 300 candles at one time. I'm a moth though, so every TS is new to me.

I get twenty every candle run I do. Times that by 30-31. Every month I could get 600-620 meaning 3 months would be 1800-1860 possible. It's nice but definitely more work than necessary. Interesting stuff for sure

I usually just do the candle cake realm, Sanctuary, and all of Forest as my candle runs (aka down two chevrons) it's around 10 candles each time (not a daily thing) so it's slowly building.
