Riot didn't think in this way, the ability just consumes half of your current hp, in the same way that soraka's W consumes 10% of her max hp. You can think of it as if you tanked an ability that dealt 50% of your hp bar. So of course selling your items wont reduce your current hp, only your max hp.

But the armor is reduced by a fixed amount for the durability of the spell that is decided at the beginning of it. It means that after selling all your armor, the debuff will still reduce your armor as if you had a lot.

I could see this used in base defence but It's very hard to pull off, It will probably be patched once it happens in pro-play

im gonna assume that this resets after the ult duration is over and doesn't happen again unless you resell again. If not, please don't tell me, for the sake of my mental health.

Useless feature tho you have to fight in base and spend ult duration going to the shop and selling and undoing

the only good takeaway from k'sante is he can iso the carries but in return he dies because of the health & armor reductions

if u do this and someone is hitting u or has DOT on you you will have no way to undo your items

Ksante needs more %health damage in his tank kit so he isn't useless before the ultimate, because if you only play him after ult he is a bruiser who is worst then every other one

Maybe your hp being a Stat that is constantly changing in numbers has something to do with it, whereas armor and Mr are fixed numbers

Interesting but who is going back to fountain to do just this, if anything in curious about ornn upgrade interaction which could work just like this.
