Τί είναι το Μουσικό εργαστήρι Λαβύρινθος;

Το Μουσικό Εργαστήρι Λαβύρινθος ιδρύθηκε το 1982 από τον Ross Daly (Καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής Μ.Ε.Λ.) με σκοπό την μύηση των νέων, κυρίως, ανθρώπων σε μια δημιουργική προσέγγιση στα παραδοσιακά μουσικά ιδιώματα από διάφορα μέρη του κόσμου. Αποτελεί σημείο συνάντησης για μουσικούς και σπουδαστές καθώς επίσης αναγνωρίζεται ευρέως ως ηγέτιδα δύναμη στον τομέα της εκπαίδευσης, στο πεδίο της τροπικής και γενικότερα της παραδοσιακής μουσικής.

Ζαχαρίας Σπυριδάκης - Σεμινάριο "Κρητική Λύρα"

Το σεμινάριο θα επικεντρωθεί τόσο στην Κρητική Λύρα, τεχνικές και ρεπερτόριο, όσο και στην Κρητική μουσική γενικότερα σε συνδιασμό με τα υπόλοιπα "κρητικά" μουσικά όργανα (λαγούτο, μαντολίνο και ακομαντούρα).
Στο σεμινάριο μπορούν να συμμετέχουν μαθητές ανεξαρτήτου επιπέδου

What is Musical Workshop Labyrinth?

Labyrinth Musical Workshop was founded in 1982 by Ross Daly (the Artistic Director of MWL), with the goal of initiating young people, primarily, into a creative approach to traditional musical idioms from various parts of the world. It is a meeting point for musicians and students and it is widely recognized as a leading force with respect to education, in the field of modal and traditional music in general.

Zacharias Spyridakis - Seminar "Cretan Lyra"

The Cretan lyra seminar with Zacharias Spyridakis will focus both on Lyra and on Cretan music in general, in combination with the rest of the Cretan tradition instruments’ such as Laouto, Mandolin and Askomantoura.
More precisely the students will be introduced to the history of the instrument, the tuning, the techniques and the most representative repertoire. The creation of music ensembles and traditional duos will be as well part of the seminar’s context.
