Terrific Van Damm film. The apocalyptic sense and horror of nilism with Fender and his freak army. But still hope and humanity with other people. The limitless power of life and beauty of combat and people working together to survive. The idea of Fender becoming a meta monster. Low budget cult masterpiece.

funny what this film could achieve with a small budget, even hbo doesn't capture such an atmosphere..there's dread BUT it's entertaining, visceral, it's the warriors meets evil dead meets..mad max
500, 000 bucks in 23 freaking days.. this scene is amazingly well done, I mean look at the music, angles, the movement of the actors, the framerate used as they enter, the way van damme grabs his knife..even the limited dialogue works, I mean it looks like a blockbuster limited only by budget

I honestly do not care what anyone says I absolutely love this film. Extremely low budget but they got the feel of post apocalyptic world perfectly. Van Damme in his absolute prime fighting wises. He incredible cool in this film. Scary bad guy. Highly underrated movie.
