Cover: Equinoxe 4 by Jean Michel Jarre

This is my version of Jarre's Equinoxe 4 track from 1978, and as a funny little nod to the original music video from the 70's, my synths also get invaded by robots from outer space... ;-)

All the video clips of my playng was shot during recording to the sequencer, so the sound and video for each part are real playing. The only modification I've done to any of the parts is the arpeggio being played in the lower half of the screen, which has been quantized to create a more "robotic" timing. But as you can see, my hands are playing every note.

I have never seen anyone play the arpeggio like that i Beleive even the master himself Jean michel uses computers at times what you did to this track was astounding I would bow in your presence...also the way this is filmed is great I love playing keyboard but have no musical training watching this video has allowed me to learn a great deal only downfall is on arpeggio shadows on keys make it a little hard to see and your hands move to damn fast lol. Congrats on the best cover i have ever heard we need more from you and jarre ( like if you agree )

Thank you! :-) I first listened to the original Equinoxe IV as well as the Concerts In China version and slowed it down to have a better chance to hear the notes being played.

Then I created a new sound in my Korg Radias synth that plays these notes using the "mod sequencer" feature of that synth. The low ones and high ones are the same, just with a few octaves between them. I then assigned a controller to fade between the high ones and the low ones.
