As a Boy Scout mom I have been on cold weather campouts with a Korean mink blanket and a sleeping pad. I put on some socks, a had and a fleece sweat suit. That is the best sleep ever. I have never slept on a blow up mattress outside. Ya got to have a mink blanket or a wool one.

Y'all cheated. You're supposed to do the tent for 24 hours. That means cooking breakfast on the fire or a camping grill. You also need blow up beds for the kids. It would've been awful sleeping on the ground, especially if it got cold. I love glamping, cos y'all had all the convenience of home. That's the way to go or rent an RV.
