Mark Field has been suspended as a Foreign Office minister, pending an investigation, after he grabbed a female climate change protester during a black-tie dinner.

The attacks against this MP are absolutely ridiculous. She could have easily had a knife on her. He should be praised for what he did. I used to see alot of violent CCTV incidents as part of my old job. I actually had to find incidents in crouds of people. I don't know if you have ever tried it but its like "Where's Wally?" in motion on steroids. After watching that type of thing alot you get a feel for the body movements and actions of people. Especially when the adrenaline kicks in. I'm not making any other point other than I think he is lying about thinking she was armed. In my experience he moves like an ambush aggressor, rather than someone acting in self defense or out of fear. It is what it is.
