Autumn in the Colorado Mountains 2017

I spent the middle part of September this year enjoying autumn in the Colorado high country. Watching the aspen turn golden yellow with stunning mountains and sweeping meadows as a backdrop is something that everyone should experience at least once. This video includes some of my favorite scenes from autumn in the Colorado mountains.

Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy this video.

Ohmigosh, Robert! That was spectacular! Your filming and editing skills are excellent and the scenes were...not enough verbs, there just aren't. And complete with a Durango & Silverton steam engine. It made this Colorado girl's heart sing! Thank you, thank you!

That was the most beautiful video. Colorado should buy it for tourism.... But then everyone would go there. It's heartwarming to know there are still places like this. I actually did go there about 20 years ago. I drove on that scary road in June, and it started snowing! I still have nightmares about it! We went on the Pinkerton railroad ride - so fun. Colorado is breathtaking.

There you go again. Making southern men weep for joy, at the beauty in Colorado. Have you no shame?
Will your video production super powers ever end? Fantastic job, Robert. I thank you for the quick camp fire clip!

Robert,

Excellent video, but please slow the panning down a bit to give me more time to drink in the beautiful scenery. Thank you for allowing us to see this majestic country through your eyes for a little while. Spectacular.

Hi from PA! Well done Robert! The fall is beautiful there. The pines at 1:10 in the video reminded me of feathers. I could just picture the Indians riding their ponies thru there. Really pretty quaint towns. Hot Springs was amazing. The train was neat, all the passengers waving at you! How did you manage to drive slow enough for the video to be so clear? I never get tired of seeing the beauty in our world. We're so grateful and blessed for you sharing this with us. I watch these over and over especially when I need nature's beauty to calm me. TY Robert. Stay safe

We lived in the mountains of Colorado 50 miles northwest of Denver many years ago. This video brought back many memories of the beauty of fall and the Aspens. Thank you for posting. I would love to boondock in those mountains one day.

My husband and I were in Silverton in late September...we rode the train from Durango to Silverton and back. It was a wonderful adventure and we came home with many fantastic pictures. Your video took me back again. Thank you.

Heaven forbid a blow out on a tire!!! This is all breath taking, does it ever feel like it is too much to take in very much at once? It feels like it while I am watching. That is one of the great things about all the videos, I can go back and watch them several times, & I do!!!! Thank you so much for sharing all of this, I doubt I will ever get to see it all in person. I was lucky, my Dad took us all out West amount the mountains when I was little...I remember. xxxooo Judie Crazy guy on a cycle!!!!
