Man, this makes it painfully obvious how badly the Connie series needs a redesign. Can't wait for my Perseus...

The only reason I wanted the Zeus to come out is because I knew you would make a new "Architect reviews" on it.

In my opinion, the Zeus is one of the - if not the - best made ships in the entire game so far. Not only that it's damn beautiful but also how it was built in the inside... Logical, no waste of space, the MFDs are placed senseful in front of the struts, so they don't block the sight, the ladder down in the front, the storage, the landing lights... I could go on but you get the point. So damn well done, CIG, great job!!!

2 things:
1, they have already fixed the seat priority to leave the control in the pilots hands at all times if the seat is in use. Not manual control, but better than random priority.
And 2, the CL only has 3 shield Generators. The ES is the only variant with 4.

Oooh, goody! A new "An Architect Reviews". I've been waiting for a new one.

In fact, I like them so much, I'd love to see you go through all sorts of scifi franchises and do those as well.

That "Thissss" at the start had me feeling like we were about to hear about the Zues Mark 2's quirks and features.

The colder looking white bedroom lighting you mentioned at 12:34 can actually be changed to a soft yellow by the control panel by most of the doors. Theres also options to turn off the bunk lights within the bunk beds. I think there's also red emergency lights you can toggle too.

The ramp clips through the terrain FINALLY no more sending my ship into the atmosphere trying to board it.

This is why the Phoenix is my favorite ship. I love the idea of being a guest and just hanging out in the back. Being able to see outside the ship is by far my favorite feature of a ship.

These videos are honestly the best possible advertisements for star citizen as a whole, but also well crafted videos in their own right. Keep up the good work!

The Zeus mk2 will probably be my new favorite ship, simply because the area behind the cockpit is so well thought out. The ladder and airlock are right behind the flight deck entrance and there are suit lockers and a weapons rack right next to it.

My fav ship right now. Even recreated and made an epic Trailer for it in KSP.
A few things I would change are: Add a window in the hab. Bigger Table in the kitchen for the ES. And the Pilot side ounted on the bottom, so the obstruction over the head isn't there.

20:00 the zeus cl has 3 size 2 shields, only the es has 4

I love RSI design language. Sleek, angular and sharp, without having any edge lord vibe that most other sharp designs have in other games.

RSI basically has all the best parts of Aegis, Drake and Crusader.
Aegis sturdiness and functionality.
Drake utility and practicality.
Crusader sleekness and elegance.

With the exception of the conny (i hate the shape of the conny front half), RSI has probably my favorite design language

I already bought a Zeus ES. Also, I don't know if anyone noticed, but the bunks are also escape pods. If you look at the underside of the Zeus, you'll see two hatches labelled "escape pod." There are right under the bunks. I didn't see a way to seal the bunks, so I'm guessing that CIG will still need to work on the Zeus when escape pods become a thing.

just a couple of edits Morph: the CL has 3 shield generators, the ES has 4. Also the CL has a size 2 radar and the ES has a size 3, which does make a fairly significant difference in when you see things vs. things seeing you. :D

So cool to hear you make a nod towards the heat resistant tiles. My grandfather helped design those when he worked at Boeing. Such a special little detail, and I'm so happy it caught your eye.

See, this is the perfect comparison vehicle. You cut from one to the other in each space so that I can see them back to back. This gives me an excellent idea of what the actual differences are. This is my go to channel for my comparisons and I would like to say thank you very much for the outstanding work and production values.

I pledged for the ES at last year's Citizen Con. I weighed the ES or the CL and decided I didn't need the extra cargo of the CL because I have a LTI Concept Hull B that I'm waiting for.
Anyway, I popped into the PTU yesterday and walked around and looked at my ES. I haven't had the time to take it out yet, but just walking around it I was reminded of another ship: the Aegis Dynamics Avenger Titan, which I also have. The Zeus Mk2 ES is like a multi-crew version of the Avenger Titan. A cockpit, living quarters, and a cargo bay that isn't very big but seems just right anyway.
