"Collaborating with Khruangbin, we wanted to convey the ideas of journey, exploration, growth and innocence. Using these themes as my guide, the video tells the story of a young girl, escaping from the chaos of fast-paced city life through her dreams to a more liberating and joyful place. Playing with symbolism--the paper plane as a metaphor for Khruangbin, which means airplane in Thai, to convey discovery through travel; walking through unknown passageways as growth through life's various stages; and, the shot with the young girl and cow to convey rebirth, for it points to the name and thus meaning of the song--was a way to subtly convey this message. And, personally for me, it's the song's beautiful, dream-like melodies that tie the piece together, taking you to a truly peaceful place."

This guitarist is the next great one. Anyone to attempt to meld traditional Thai music with anything is very talented. As soon as i heard this song I recognized the Thai incorporated into it having lived in Thailand for a few years. A calf born in the winter must be strong and i assume that is the message here. Have not heard a guitarist like this since Joe Satriani. Thank you to all in this band for making something fresh and new. Please everyone, pay attention and recognize something special here.

Can't tell you how much this song has helped me, and how many times it has saved me from diving fully into despair. I found Khruangbin right in the middle of the covid breakout, and at first I fell in love with their more rock/funk-oriented vibe. When I found this, at first I thought of leaving out of the mix I made of them, but in the back of my mind I heard a subtle "no, give it a chance". And I did. Now it's probably my favorite track by them. Thank you Khruangbin. You've created something that transcends any reason, which is what music is supposed to do. 🙏

This song also takes me back to the days when I was just a kid, my mom and grandma were there, life was so simple and I knew nothing of everything, few years later so many trials and tribulations, I can confidently say I know what physical and emotional pain is, been told I'll never amount to nothing. Lost my mom and grandma, later in the years of trying to figure life out, gained a beautiful queen who gave me 2 beautiful kids, a boy named Sky and a daughter name Nokhanyo meaning "And the light" - run an advertising agency, made it out alive and got some battle scars that remind me of where I come from and where I'm heading.

This guitar player has such a unique, distinctive voice, which is so rare on such an over-used instrument. He has such a great tone, feel and sense of mood. The band is tight and lovely, but that guitar player is insanely tasteful and one to watch.
