WTO at 25: What reform agenda for the WTO?

At a virtual event to mark the 25th anniversary of the WTO, senior government officials and representatives of the private sector, civil society, media and international organizations stressed the need for the WTO membership to adjust the rules of the organization to the changing nature of trade.

Participants agreed that if the WTO is to continue to play a central role in enabling global economic growth, it must embark on a process of reform.
