The Engineering Career Ladder Explained

Whether you are a software, electrical, mechanical, civil, or chemical engineer, you will inevitably have to climb what I like to call "The Engineering Ladder". Everyone's career path will look a bit different, but typically there are 3 potential tracks that engineers can go with at start-ups and big tech companies (Apple, Amazon Google, Tesla, etc). This video provides a closer look into these 3 tracks and the various engineering career levels (from intern to CEO). I also share how you can move up the ladder and the key differences between each level in terms of responsibility, duties, and impact.

Just want to sincerely say thank you for this detailed explanation.

I was frustrated for a couple months that my EE career was going too slow and that I should quit because of that. But after your explanation I see that I’m on the right track and everything goes pretty smoothly. So thank you very much for sharing this information

Hello sir I just completed watching your video on computational engineering and then came to this video.
My doubts are what does the job market for computational engineers look like in the U.S after completing masters in the same for Asian(Iam Indian by the way). Also as a mechanical undergraduate myself, Iam looking to pursue a masters in mechanical engineering, according to you which major in mechanical engineering pays you the most and which has the lowest potential of being replaced in the future by technology? Iam asking this because a lot of people around me are asking to pursue a technical field for masters like data science or analytics of some sort. Your reply will be very valuable to me. Thank you.
