Playing the WORST Tier 6 Tanks in World of Tanks!

The Problem with the E8 is, that it's virtually useless in Tier 8 matches and you get Tier 8 often, very often, within it's tier its a very decend tank

Would be interesting to see you play stock tanks, as when grinding as a new player some of these stock tanks are terrible to play and are probably the cause of the low win rates.

I've said it before, the big problem with the HE rework, other than zero damage hits, is the fact that they never improved the accuracy or buffed the alternative gun choices. (Example : E2 Sherman 76mm gets 177mm of penetration with gold rounds, but the HVAP M93 should get 239mm... Like the Firefly, Achilles, etc. 177mm is roughly what the pen should be at 1000 meters. Other tanks at the same tier or even lower get accurate, or better than real penetration
Meanwhile, the Shermans get arbitrarily balanced penetration, making the alternate guns lackluster at best.)
As for accuracy, "Now you have to aim" is a hip statement among certain segments of the player base, but with an aim circle that covers half of the bloody map... Well, it's a crap shoot if you will snipe a cupola, or see your shell whizz off the map and land in War Thunder...

I can’t believe you only got one tier 8 game in all that. Whenever I play tier 6 all I ever get is tier 8 games.

I remember back in early WoT tanks days watching a Wolfpack of easy 8s dropping t32s and other t8s just all full throttle and circle strafing..those were the days

I remember playing the E8 years ago and absolutely loving the voracious RoF on the gun. With a little help from your teammates, that thing could get around and just whittle down enemy hitpoints. But now with the sheer number of burst and/or DPM monsters that thing has to face, those risky plays just aren't worth it anymore

I honetly can't belive Easy 8 has worst win rate of any tier VI tank. I love Easy 8, great DPM, good gun handling, 12° of gun depresion, decent speed it's tier VI Comet and I adore Easy 8 even more than Cromwell. Maybe players can't make awful pen work. But it's a great tank

Shermans had stabilizers in real life back in WW2, so I think thats the reason why this Easy 8 can have vert stabs.

The Easy 8 was probably my joint favorite tank (tied with the E75) when I used to play. Vert stabs, vents, and gun rammer with a fully loaded crew and prem consumable made this thing feel incredible, especially with a full platoon of these with your friends

If I'm not wrong I mean the E8 was one of the first American tanks to be fully stabilized, and the VK28.01 was a beast before 9.18 as you could 1v1 almost any tank and just dance around them shooting HE or HEAT.

I absolutely adored my VK 2801 back in the 105mm days. Before the HE changes you were even able to have great games with standard ammo alone. And the innaccurate gun, poor camo, mediocre view range and big silhouette compared to other lights didn't really hold it back because at least it had that heavy-hitting alpha. You were even able to fight well-armored heavies and thus were more like a scouty medium rather than a pure scout. The main problem with the whole package was the good pen on the premium rounds that basically turned it into a fragile KV-1S on speed.
The worst part when they took the 105mm was that they didn't give the tank a new (less OP) gun that would've allowed it to perform the same role. A scout gun with good alpha, good penetration and bad DPM & accuracy would`ve made this certainly possible (something like 200 alpha, 160 pen, 1300 DPM, 0.42 accuracy, 2.5 aim time). It would've made brawling with other lights for scouting spots impossible but at least the tank would've kept some of its punch alive.

15:00 the KV1S has a really interesting history in game...

It started life at tier 6 where fully upgraded it was just a KV-122

Then it was replaced with the "KV-85" which could be set up as a historical KV-85, KV-100, or KV-122. At this time the KV-1S was downtiered to tier 5. IIRC stock it was a historical KV1S but it received access to the S-41 howitzer that one prototype received IRL (which was historically suggested to put it on the IS as well) and a turret which I've never seen any historical records of.

Then they brought it back up to tier 6. Not sure what they changed since I stopped playing the game but it doesn't look like they changed much

This really said something about the power creep in WOT
It use to be that u r in a flexible MT so you can spot or get around and not just brute force through the HT 2 tier higher then you and call it a problem

Easy8 bad? I do remember when i got it and had to fight IS-4 tank (when it was tier IX) with merely regular ammo. Perhaps that is why it feels so easy for me to play it nowadays. I never considered it might be underwhelming until WG announced they going to buff it. But i guess it's true - the competition on its tier grew and got better leaving it in the shadows and it's just me that didn't notice.

Thanks for video! For suggestion: maybe play tanks with fastest and slowest shell velocity.
