FIRST YouTube Paycheck as a Creator with 1250 Subscribers // Real Analytics and Numbers!

After almost 2 years of posting videos on YouTube, I finally got monetized! And I JUST got my first YouTube paycheck. See how much I earned with 1250 subscribers while posting content about personal finance. I show real numbers and real analytics.

If you're trying to get monetized but are discouraged, trust me, I get it. It took me over 6 months to even reach 100 subscribers and I thought I would be able to reach the minimum of 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time by my 6th month. Fortunately, I kept pushing, and I encourage you do keep pushing as well.

Those “Shorts” views don’t count towards the 4, 000 watch hour requirement so I’ll have to start posting more long How-To computer videos to reach the threshold. My content is focused on several different topics which it makes it harder for YouTube to figure out who my core audience is. I just like so many different things and want to share all of them. It’s stupid hard to grow here on YouTube! You used the word “resilience” and that is definitely something any content creator needs to have! I’ve been at this nonstop, posting 2-3 videos a week, for going on 4 years as a gaming channel (highly competitive) I do this mainly because it’s my passion and not so much for the attention or revenue so I might be an odd one but I totally understand why so many creators drop out. The amount of money earned is definitely not worth effort so I highly advise people find a different reason to do it if they chose to.
