What is editing and Omission in English?

Omission :
In English, you would be given a paragraph, in which some of the words would have been
purposefully omitted and you need to add them as per the grammar rules, this process is called Omission.

Editing :
And, some of the words would have been incorrectly used, you need to correct them as per the grammar rules
this process is called Editing.
