I feel bad for him. The guy can sing, you can find a lot of videos that clearly show that he's not a bad singer at all. He must have had a bad day....or he can't reach those high notes anymore. Come on, guys, he deserves a little more respect than what people are wriiting in the comments section. After all, he wrote this song, he composed the music, he came up with the words and the vocal melody.

I used to repeat this song over and over again on my compact disc player.

He got everything right when he wrote this song, simple melody, simple lyrics yet deep, catchy sound, Wes hang on there, stay sober, I listened to PoM when I was like 16 endlessly, now I’m 35 and still hope you’ll come back with a great song or an album.

I remembere seeing him live in Italy a few years ago. He was so thin and worn out that he couldn't even keep the guitar, he had no strenght. Also he was so drunk or high that i remember him asking where he was. He was totally confused and his vocals could barely be heard. The concert ended up way earlier than It should have because he literally passed out on the stage. It was heartbreaking seeing him that way. That being said i'm really glad he feels better now and he started to sing again, doing what he likes doing, who cares about the Nirvana cover. Keep It up man.

Hang in there wes, get clean
And take it all back. Keep making good music. Many people still believes on you.

Everyone talking trash about his voice. Well at least he hasn’t quit playing music which seems to be his passion. Give him the respect for keeping it up even after all the crap he’s been through.

Coming here after the Nirvana cover and I’m glad to see he hasn’t lost his voice. Congrats on sobriety Wes!!! Haters will always hate.

I honestly feel so bad from him. He used to such a good voice I can’t imagine what it’d be like to have music as your lively hood and passion and lose it to drugs. I truly think he’s kind of a tortured dude based on his past. I mean I’m all honesty this is no where as good as younger him could do but it’s not bad really, at least coming from the about a girl video it doesn’t seem like it.

For all the people hating on Wes, you can tell his vocal chords are already strained and he knows that. It's why he is singing the song in a lower octave most of the time.

Who came here from the about a girl video to see if he's just as horrible as the other video?? Lol

He actually sounds good here, especially in the verses. I’m just gonna pretend that Nirvana cover doesn’t exist....

Everyone burns this guy, he is a song writer. It is a beautiful song and combination of words. I mean we can’t compare song writers like that ray Charles or even Miley Cyrus. It’s a lovely song that I’m sure millions of people online are so grateful he created for them. He shared an intimate part of himself so someone else could open themselves up. He was gifted with the words and the courage to speak about his feelings in front of the world.

Had the amazing pleasure to see Puddle of Mudd at Kegs Canalside in Jordan NY in september of 2022. The best concert I have been too. They played great and sang great. I think it's normal to have bad days, especially when he sings songs that you need to scream a little. Much love to wes and the band

This was done really well; perfect key for Wes and I like watching his face; you can see he is reliving memories of when he wrote it.
