Jon Bogdanove made it worth reading. Clever storytelling and gorgeous art--the man could draw kid anatomy & proportion pretty well, as opposed to the other artists who mostly made them small adults.

Facts about the Power Pack in my marvel universe series show:

- as I wanted to keep them as kids their origin story happen much much later being more modern heroes that come along a good amount of after characters like Ms. Marvel, Nadia Van Dyne and the period Sam was Captain America.

- Their origin story episode takes more from the Power Pack: Day One comics.

- At one point Katie ends up in a mutant prison camp for a decent amount of time as her siblings try their best to find her as well as cope with it. Especially Jack who’s the one to quarrel with Katie the most. She would eventually be saved by the x-men but she would never really be the same after what she was through.

- They have a bigger roster of honorary members which includes Franklin Richards, Valeria Richards, Danielle Cage and William Grant Nelson.

- Jack and Danielle would have a competitive rivalry.

- At one point just like in the comics Kurse ends up hospitalizing their mom and the four ends up teaming up with Thor to stop him. During the battle Zero-G would prove himself worthy of Mjolnir as he used its powers together with his own to defeat Kurse which is taken from the Thor and the warrior four comic.

- Energizer being the most powerful member would also be a thing that would be brought up.

- The series would also show Lightspeed go through the process of realizing she’s bisexual as well as dealing with it.

- The Power Pack eventually becomes an of shoot avengers sub-group for tweens with superpowers

I had a subscription to Power Pack in the '80s when I was 12. It would come every month in a slip on paper wrapper and usually it was folded or torn or some other damage. The baseball issue is one I remember the most.

There was a New Mutants issue where Katey Power was an old woman in the future where the Sentinels ruled. I collected New Mutants and my older sister liked Power Pack.

3:06 the building tension lol. I love the power pack btw, I discovered them in 08 when I was about 6 and I always loved them but they fell into obscurity over the years, they kinda have a small cult fan base but they’re so scarce

I read and enjoyed Power Pack back in the day.
Most of th first 40 issues are increadably well written.
Unfortunatly a lot of lame people refused to ever actually read an issue and just went on the assumption that a book about children had to be bad.
They never even looked past the cover.

There was hardship and joy.
Delightful adventures and terror.
Social comentary and insight
Wonderful character driven stories.

What there wasn't much of was super hero fights or crimefighting...there was some...but not much.

But you would have to actually read it to tell that.

I remember reading Power Pack in the 90's, bought a ton of issues for a song from a flea market...WORTH IT. If I could recollect those issues again I would.
Young kids facing grownup issues. I'm appalled they don't get the attention of the grownup Marvel counterparts we still hear about even today.
Alex, Katie, Julie, Jack...I would kill to have their powers & their problems just to be a better person than now. Big surprise if kids today had access to those issues shown here, they'd so love'em.

Come on Back.

54issues is 4.5 years of comics. That isn't a bad run at all.

This is my personal opinion on when the power pack members were born both from Earth-616 and Earth-5631
Earth-616:
Alex Powers- 2012
Julie Powers- 2014
Jack Powers- 2016
Katie Powers- 2018
Franklin Richards- 2017
Earth-5631:
Alex Powers- 2010
Julie Powers- 2012
Jack Powers- 2014
Katie Powers- 2016
Franklin Richards- 2015
Ps: It's been confirmed that the Power Pack of Earth-5631 are 2-3 years older than the Power Pack of Earth-616.
