Wendy Williams ‘Incapacitated’ w/ Dementia, Guardian Claims In Shocking Health Update

Wendy Williams’ guardian is sharing a serious update about the former talk show host’s health. Months after Williams was revealed to be battling aphasia and dementia, her guardian claims in a recent legal filing obtained by Access Hollywood that she is “cognitively impaired, permanently disabled, and incapacitated” due to her condition. Sabrina Morrissey, Williams’ court-appointed guardian, submitted new paperwork on Nov. 12 in the ongoing lawsuit over the Lifetime documentary “Where is Wendy Williams?” that aired in February 2024. The latest filing claims that the networks, media companies and producer named in the lawsuit “took advantage” of Williams’ “physical and cognitive decline” as the star was allegedly “clearly incapable of consenting to be filmed,” and asks the court to redact portions of the case to protect the star’s privacy. The defendants’ response, included in the filing, claims that the documentary was conceived of with Williams’ “consent, input and participation” prior to her diagnosis and guardianship.

I understand people do suffer from dementia. But, this doesn’t feel right. Wendy was the most bubbly, focused person. She spoke the truth about people… that’s why I question her diagnosis. She declined extremely quickly. You’re not safe in Hollywood. God bless her. She’s loved by the public.
