If I'm not mistaken, and I could be wrong, Venom left a second piece of venom at the bar.
As I saw, there were 2 versions of the bar, one that is set within the MCU and one in the SONYVERSE
So, the piece of venom that was collected was the one in the SONYVERSE, and the other piece is still in the MCU
Again, I might be wrong, but they seemed to try to show that the bartender is a different version of himself because of the hair, I think venom says "I like our version of the bartender better"

I just came from the movie. THEY DID NOT TAKE THE GOO FROM THE MCU! Watch the movie again. When Eddie gets pulled back "home, " he leaves the bar and leaves a tip. The TIP HAS GOO ON IT AND THAT'S WHAT GETS TAKEN. Not the goo from the MCU. So the symbiote is still in Mexico in the MCU. C'mon guys, pay attention!

The Spiderman 1990’s cartoon did Venom and Eddie Brock justice in a couple of episodes more than 6 plus hours of movies. I knew they would mess up Knull!!!
