WILTY is a fantastic example of why the people involved matter. The concept is so simple that it feels like there’s no way it can keep going for more than a couple of series, but the energy of Rob, David and Lee just fits so perfectly together that it never gets old.

Kevin Bridges accidentally buying a horse in Bulgaria is a personal favourite of mine 😂

I know it's a cliché but Rob Brydon seems so nice and down to earth here. He's never seemed like the most glamorous celebrity, but it's interesting to be reminded that he's just an ordinary guy with tastes and interests like the rest of us. I guess that's part of the strength of a podcast like this.

My favourite person was Henning Wehn, all of his stories are always unbelievable and somehow end up being true 😂

Yeah it’s actually almost freakish how quick witted Lee Mack can be

I didn’t know of James acaster a year ago and now I get stoked to see him in anything, even just off the cuff interviews and panel shows, he just seems so effortlessly funny and original

James Acaster is one of those people that always looks like he's 20. I had no idea he was 38.

What makes Bob's stories even more funny is David Mitchell's reaction to them, getting more and more exasperated 😂

I think the reason it works so well without comedians is because it allows David, Lee and Rob to take centre stage more and they work brilliantly together

Rob is spot on about Lee Mack! No one has a quicker response than he and it’s incredible to watch!

I’ve always said that about Lee Mack, he’s always so quick witted! He’s had me in tears of laughter so many times!

Kevin Bridges buying a horse in Bulgaria, Henning Wehn just being himself and Bob Mortimer all on the same show would be a dream.

I’m so glad he brought up Lee’s ability to think fast. I’ve never seen anyone think as fast as he does

The best thing that happened to WILTY was the change in host and presentation from the almost serious dour mannerisms of Angus Deaton to the bright and optimistic charm of Rob Brydon took the show from an okay time killer to a show I never miss
