This is one of my favourite boost pedals - the Boomster from JAM Pedals in Greece. It's a very clean silicon booster, with the option to gain it up with an internal trim pot.
As with all boosters, the sound of this pedal is very dependent on what amps you're running it into & how they're set. Mine are set on the edge of breakup, so we'll get a good amount of gain going on rather than just a volume increase.

Guitar is a Fender Tele with Bare Knuckle Pickups through a Cornell Romany Plus (recorded with an sE Electronics RNR1 Ribbon) and a Hughes & Kettner Puretone (recorded with a 57)
