So… “slay” is another way to give a compliment to someone like a previous lesson “you ate” that you taught us, isnt it?

I am used to the meaning :slay=to kill a person or animal. Not interested in British slang because I am a non-native.

I slayed my interview. I did amazingly well.

I nailed the interview. I succeeded perfectly.

I smashed the interview. I did really well. (British slang.)

I aced the interview. I passed it with flying colours.

Thank you so much BBC learning. 🩵
