As a person who has tried this and got a huge amount of good stuff from it (a mystic tiger accessory, 99k elixir, and a mystic cheetah skin) I can confirm this works. It is still working in 2024; you will not get banned for this as far as I know! Good luck!

Hey for anyone that doesnt want to get banned! Try it once in a month or twice so the game wont think u are trying a glitch unlike if u do it commonly than thats a problem or just once in a week not too often aight?

Yeah also having the max ammount of coins then opening chests seems to work. Not always, its like a 50/50 chance but i've gotten 3 mystics from getting myself to 99k then opening em.
