Littlefinger’s one of the most changed characters from the books.

In the show they made him an obvious villain which no one trusts but in the books he’s much more likable. Everyone trusts him and he helps everyone when they need it all the while waiting to betray anyone for his own benefit at anytime.

Basically he’s still the same character but much much more subtle

I still get the chills listening to this. Littlefinger is the smartest man in the room and the most unscrupulous man in the room. Limitless ambition without a soul… the most dangerous man in existence. I can’t wait to see his grand scheme unfold in the books, because after Sansa’s arc in the Erie unfolds on the show, they burn the rest of the book arc and swap Sansa’s show arc with Jeyne Poole in the books. The result robbed Littlefinger of his book plot and basically gave him nothing to do but stare creepily and come up with b-movie contrived conflicts to keep him busy. His unceremonious end in Season 7’s finale was a low point for the show.
