What's all hate about? This is totally her style. Clearly y'all don't listen to her much. I really enjoyed this cover. Luv nilüfer yanya!

Love her vocals here holy shit. Vaguely reminds me of a female version of King Krule, super addictive. Great stuff!

Amazing cover. I’ve never heard of her before, but she a great voice. Reminds me of Sade and a bit like the singer from Stereolab.

Shameful comment section, this is a really creative rendition which still does the feel of the song justice, I think Frank himself would appreciate the experimental vocals

Ambitious,
Certainly not for me, but good on them for making it their own and taking a risk with this cover.

I don't think people get what's going on here but hey we aren't all good musicians or understand how to appreciate unique and talented artists and their covers, way better than most like versions I've ever heard

I actually enjoyed listening to this artists interpretation of the song. It was a slow burn for me; a simmer at first but by the end a steady flame. Taking the lyrics into consideration I think the detached vocals really add to it if you imagine it from the perspective of the "super rich kid" Songs like this are why I love art. This absolutely isnt for everyone, but if you think she sung it like this unintentionally you are wrong. The only part were her interpretation differs with mine is when the rich kid is falling off the roof. She kept her singing very mellow and reserved when I think if I was the rich kid I would have been screaming from my inflated idea of my significance. But I get why she chose it to be that way. She may have been trying to emphasize that despite his life isnt very meaningful to those around him, and most likely none of his environment will change without him.

This is a really weird cover, but hey at least she's doing her own thing

❤ this version. Can't get enough. Somehow it's even more chill than Frank Ocean's original.
