Yes! And don’t forget us wide-feet gals too! I’ve worn D width shoes since I was a baby and suffered as a teen because I had to wear granny shoes when I wanted to dress up. My Aunt said I was like a skinny little puppy with big ol’ paws… 😫

I too wear a size 11 M US. Every time I see a designer shoe I like online in “size 11”, I look for a picture of the sole because it’s usually a 41. Which is and NEVER has been a size 11 US!!!

Hi Karen! I am eu size 42, uk 9, us 11. So even worse then your situation as many brands who claim to have true size 42 in fact barely fit. So I quite like Jil sander for shoe sizing as as a German brand they are usually more generous on the length of the sole and even 41 is good but for some reason they make short straps on sandals. As I could not return the sandals I made additional holes in the straps and it partially fixed the problem. Like you showed doing holes on the belts. As there is less pulling. No problem with other models of Jil sander (closed shoes).

I wear a size 12 and have wide feet. (Thank you, Dad! I should have at least gotten his height too.). Given my wide feet the problem with most women’s shoes is that they are made more narrow. I can wear some mediums but wides are more comfortable. I guess the only blessing is my big, wide feet saved me from having a shoe vice. It really could have gone the other way. 😊
