I honestly think that hybe stans are deluding themselves into thinking min heejin is the only problem at hybe and after she’s fired everything will be sunshine and rainbows, except it won’t.
From sexualizing minors, to stealing work from small artists, to giving awful vocal training to idols, hybe has many flaws and problems. Just because she is a bad person it doesn’t mean hybe is a good company.

As someone who listens to both (G)-IDLE's earlier and latest music, I think that the visual aspects of their creative direction has gotten stronger (e.g. MVs, stage outfits and teasers) but at the expense of their musical direction getting weaker.

Alot of criticism towards IVEs Baddie wasnt even about the actual song, but the fact they IVE 'changed' their concept and were just 'following trends'. Which is strange, because before Baddies release, I saw alot of antis calling IVE one trick ponies and that they were getting boring, but now that they switched things up, they should suddenly go back to the elegant concept? Secondly, IVEs concept was never just supposed to be royal and elegant, but to show several styles and concepts, which is reflected by the groups name, meaning 'Show what I have'. Thirdly, Baddie wasnt even following trends. When IVE released Baddie, there weren't alot of groups doing girl crush, as far as I know, but fresh and cute. Plus, its not like the girl crush concept came out of nowhere, we've seen this in songs like Kitsch and other bsides.

49 - as a stay, it's sad to admit because I miss it so much but it's so true, the way the fandom is so thoroughly convinced the show coming back would solve every problem. It was also sooo obvious that some people weren't joking about chan being their 'therapist' and I'm glad the fandom was able to to see a result of their consequences but gosh do I miss his mid sunday music discussions :(

Idk, but when I saw the MV for sticky, I got a little weirded out because they did sexy things, and even though they're all adults, Haneul just turned the legal age (19) which means she was a minor since debut and only turned an adult in July. I've always found it weird that when you're a minor (and you turn the legal age the next year), you do sexy things as a minor it's illegal, but as soon as the clock strikes 12 and it's your birthday officially and you turn the legal age, you can legally do sexy things when just a few seconds ago it would be illegal and creepy for you to do it.

36. Hard disagree. Rapping takes more than songwriting, which I agree with, but not writing your own lyrics as a rapper instantly makes you less respectable as a rapper.

I know you have to embody a character, have a great flow, and make the lyrics your own, but writing your raps is the base of being a rapper. Only you truly know how that word is intended to be said or what you meant when you said it.

you can be an okay rapper if you don't write your own lyrics but a great or skilled one? At least to me, Nah. Penmanship is a huge deal in rap to me. But I respect your opinion! 🫶

1. Just cause someone doesn't have good vocals doesn't mean they're untalented
2. People who say Boy Groups dont have good music clearly haven't been listening to the right ones

8. Some kpop stans have very unrealistic standards when it comes to vocals

49) Skz is one of my ults but i think chan's room really needed to end. Even though all of kpop depends on feeding into fans parasocial delusions, the way chan fed so much into it and acted like the fans were his close friends was completely unprofessional. Him complaining about a group not properly greeting him to the TENS OF THOUSANDS of fans watching was honestly really disappointing. Fans will always take his side and for someone "always watching" on the internet, he should've known they would take his words and use it against other groups. It also annoys me how much fans are complaining about JYP and the toxic fans who went to hate on IVE for getting chan's room shut down when, really, most of the blame falls onto chan himself. I respect him a lot for all he's done in the industry and with his group but a grown adult who's been in the industry since puberty should know better.
