Replacing the entire lower control arm is often more practical, you get a new ball joint as well, plus there's no hassle of removing / replacing the old bushings from the original arms.

Very easy to understand and informative short video thank you for sharing your automobile knowledge, I have a question though if onyl the rubber bushings are worned out can they be replaced with replacing the whole expensive control arms? My 2016 mazda CX-5 has cracked rubber bushings and the mazda dealership has advised to replace the both contral arms at cost of AUD 2000 !!
