Im more inclined to favor beauties like Dizzy and Elphelt over cool dudes like Axl but honestly he's definitely my fav character of the entire series. Imagine a world of terrifying monsters, insane technology and apocalyptic incarnations of fundamental forces and this dude just goes where time leads him. Its so respectable that even though he may wake up tomorrow in a different reality, losing everything he worked for he just goes with the flow because he has achieved the most advantageous state for the search of true human happiness: The detachment of the selfish desire of self-indulgence, replaced by an insatiable curiosity of what lies beyond the reality we have constructed for ourselves.

Alright, I'm gonna keep it real.

This song has been telling a message I thought I understood, but NOW I get it. Although it pertains to Axl's character, who has been warped here and there and everywhere, it also pertains to a message/story of adversity. Recently, I've found myself in control of my life MORE THAN EVER. Like, waking up and smelling the flowers. My anxiety has just dropped SO low. My insecurities are all out of the box (pun oddly intended) and now I feel like a whole new me. Though I'm learning not to where my heart on my sleeve.

Anyhow, lyrics like "my time moves again" and Axl just talking about the most random things really hits me on a personal level. Or when he says "my password is out of the box", to me it feels like he could be saying that "you can have my password, you can't hurt me". Like you're free. That's why he "smells the flowers" by talking about scenery around him.

Idk I just feel really happy and I wanted to share this perspective with the comment section because I feel like it might help others come to realize that about themselves. Just in time for Pride Day, which although I do not believe I am anything but straight, I support the movement as always. Feel free to tell your stories of breaking out of "your box" here, like a journal. Also if you feel trapped, try journaling. It works!

An isekai’d character with sickles and the power to stop time? I swear, it’s like every shōnen put into one fighting game character.
Axl Low was pulled from his timeline with his friends and girlfriend, Megumi and set into the Guilty Gear universe. Now, instead of going back to her and destroying this timeline, he stays to protect it and the new friends he made here.I won’t spoil the Strive story, but oh boy, does it cap off his arc. I used to main Axl and the amount of times I’ve terrorized my friends is hilarious. His theme, though? God, it is gorgeous. It’s great to listen to, especially in the car. It’s just the sleekness of it and the lay back vibe of, “Hey, whatever happens, happens, ” is amazing. Certified bop.
