Sudan's Rival Factions Agree On New 72-Hour Ceasefire After Fighting Intensified

The Sudanese Armed Forces and Rapid Support Forces have agreed to hold a new 72-hour ceasefire. The two rival factions have agreed to refrain from initiating attacks during ceasefire. They have also promised to allow an unimpeded delivery of humanitarian assistance across Sudan. Fighting continued in Sudan's capital Khartoum as the new truce was agreed upon. This comes after Sudanese Armed Forces intensified airstrikes against Rapid Support Forces' targets.
