I found out that in my E46 when you pull the left lever up or down before turning, theres an indicator on either side which shows other drivers where you are going.

That turn signal parking light thing has been a "hidden" feature on BMWs for many years. My E28 from 1985 also has it.

Feature no.4, most cars have the 'Parking light' feature for L&R depending on which side of road you parked at night. Maybe it's a normal function for Europe..? Thank you for showing this feature to other BMW users anyhow :)

Strange how nobody knows about the parking sidelights even though it's on the stalk, the little P.
They're parking lights so you flick it to the side of the road, so on dark roads your car is visible.

Well I just went running out to the e46 I just picked up with 60k miles to check for that dot, terrified. I'm good, but you bout gave me a heart attack, lol! Cool vid, thanks

That "tamper dot" doesn't just mean your mileage has been fucked with I replaced my headlight module without coding it and the dot came on because the light module is part of the mileage redundancy feature bit it doesn't mean that the mileage was tampered with always

The windows up/down via key/remote is called comfort closure or something and it's on older cars like the E36

0:30 Not necessarily changed out my LCM and the dot came on without my mileage skipping a beat. The dealer wanted $300. to get rid of the dot, I told them I liked the dot.
