RWD cars are great in the snow. It's possible to drive a great sports car year round. We've shown this a few times. More here:
And if you want to see this MX5 vs an CUV, try this:

With good snow tires and a bag of sand in the trunk, I daily drove Miata’s for about 12 years in Minnesota winters. Definitely learned a lot about handling a car.

I daily drove my ND1 Miata for over 4 years, including through northern Ohio winters, with zero issues. A good set of winter tires makes a huge difference. Of course it helped that the car is perfectly balanced, too. Most people were surprised anyone would daily a Miata through the winter, but I told them my car handled better in the snow with winter tires than any front wheel drive car with all-season tires. It was a blast sliding the car around once in a while on purpose!

Still my favorite shot of yours as the Miata slides into frame as you discuss what the appropriate winter car is.

My Miatas have been the funniest things I've ever driven in the snow and dirt.

I had an NB for a while and while I didn't drive it lots in the ice, when I did I was surprised how the the combination of lightness and a limited slip diff made it effective

Limb-shortening surgery actually shortens the length of a bone, affecting your overall height. To do this, a surgeon removes a portion of the femur (thighbone) or tibia (shinbone). Then, they use metal plates, screws, or rods to hold the remaining pieces of bone together until they heal. The maximum length a surgeon can remove from the femur is about 3 inches.
Who’s a good candidate for these procedures?
People who want to drive a Miata.
