Blending imagination with the physical world through the Center for Advanced Virtuality

Fox Harrell, Director of the Center for Advanced Virtuality, and MIT Corporation member Alan Spoon discuss how inventing new forms of learning that are engaging and immersive can be transformative and beneficial for learners and society at large. The Center for Advanced Virtuality pioneers innovative experiences of social relevance using technologies of virtuality, such as virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) and cinematic reality and beyond (known collectively as XR). Through the design, development, and research of different narrative and interactive experiences, the Center advances innovation to serve human needs.
