Have you ever seen someone whose whims and emotions have taken over their life? Even with knowledge and understanding, they can still be led astray by these inner forces. The scariest gods are not the ones carved from stone or wood; they are the ones that live inside our minds. These hidden idols—our unchecked emotions and desires—are the most dangerous because no one else can see them. No one even knows we are worshipping them. Recognizing and dismantling these inner gods is what Allah ﷻ wants from us, so that our hearts remain devoted solely to Him.

Yes it is easy to commit shirk if you dont do introspection.. in fact my pain for palestine tirned into my "idol" for this i missed salah etc from depression and hopelessness instead watching videos of the tragedies .. now i know better.
