Arizona Cardinals Loss in Seattle Looked Worse Than It Was

Arizona Cardinals offense struggled in 16-6 loss to Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks. The loss moves the Cardinals to 6-5 and 2nd place in the NFC West through Week 12. The offensive line had its worst performance of the season, and James Conner was just able to achieve 8 rushing yards on 7 carries. Kyler Murray threw a very bad interception that resulted in a Seattle Seahawks touchdown as well.

With all the downsides from the Cardinals loss though, there were many positive takeaways. The Arizona Cardinals defense led by Budda Baker, Garrett Williams, and Kyzir White had another very solid game. Baker added another sack to his totals and Garrett Williams is continuing to show why he has CB1 trajectory for many years to come for the Cardinals with an interception in the end zone that saved the Cardinals game life for the time being. The pass rush got to and sacked Geno Smith 5 times in a defensive battle that could have gone either way. With another tough test in Week 13 as the Arizona Cardinals travel to Minnesota to play the Vikings, the question after the Week 12 loss is: was this just a blip, or is it the beginning of a trend? The Cardinals have not swept the Seahawks since 2012, only winning 7 games since and 6 of those IN SEATTLE. This Cardinals team is good enough to win at home in 2 weeks and break what is now a 6 game losing streak.

The pick 6 was just a ridiculous play that caught Murray off guard. Dude really made up ground and rather than throw the ball out the sideline Murray tried to complete the option pass on what was potentially a run play.

No way the Cards will beat the Vikings, we're not at their level. Seattle will take us at home, they have our number on all 3 phases. Pats will find a way to beat us, Panthers have greater chances since they almost beat the Chiefs. LA and SF will finish us off for the season. Cards blew their credibility with the bye game, they were not prepared.
