Hey, Hip Hughes. You are doing a great job. Stop being paranoid. I appreciate your comments. I am a lawyer myself. And I like the common sense and the simple way you talk and present legal issues. Keep going.

Mr. Hughes, I think your breakdowns of court decisions are entertaining. I think you should start a channel (or podcast 😉) where you break down court cases and decisions. "The court was like 'who am I to say.." Made me chuckle

I filed a writ of habeas corpus when I got involuntarily institutionalized. The case worker was nice and respected my rights. When I needed a pen to fill it out she got me a highlighter immediately because no pens were allowed. A video on the Baker Act or other similar state laws would be interesting, at least to me.

It's just called, "Making a Murderer" not "THE Making OF a Murderer."

Do you think a new, more sympathetic Attorney General in WI, could allow a retrial with new evidence and other circumstances, for Brendan Dassey, and Steven Avery? I hope... all hope is not lost... these men are not guilty of the charges. Thanks for the vid Hip.

This guy has no idea what he is talking about, I was the first person after the Antiterrorism Effective Death Penalty Act to circumvent the act and use a writ of habeas corpus to prove my actual innocence, the AEDPA made it to where a person had one year to submit a section 2255 motion and could only submit ONE motion, before the AEDPA act a person could submit as many section 2255 motions, in other words, if a defendant messed up the motion, the court would basically tell the defendant how he messed up the motion giving the defendant the ability to correct the motion, further proving that the prosecution either put a innocent person in jail or prison or gave them to much time to serve, a section 2255 motion is used to vacate, set aside, or correct, a sentence or conviction, a habeas corpus petition is to release a prisoner who has been incarcerated too long or illegally imprisoned, basically, the government blew up the Oklahoma city building to cover up the fact that they were putting people in prison for wrong crimes or way too long of time, and here is a little secret, the AEDPA does not prevent a person from filing as many writs of habeas corpus as that person wants, the AEDPA only barred the section 2255 motion with the one year one motion limitation.
