What Haircare Looks Like When You Are Sick

Let's be real, the "me" you see in most of my videos isn't the "me" you'd see walking around my house most days, ha! Part of what I love about long hair AND this natural, historical hair care routine is just how minimalist my daily hair care can be. As long as my hair is kept detangled and moisturized with oils and butters, it's golden. I have been using this DIY hair strengthening spray recently, made with aloe vera power and amla, steeped in water and then cooled and strained. It is amazing and keeping my hair strong! Recipe is in the post prior to this one ☺️ Thanks Jessica for the cream! I've been using it on my face and my hair ♥️

You have beautiful hair, makes me think about how I was losing all my hair this past year from anemia, I was anemic and my doctor never let me know, I was walking down the street and almost fainted, then I went to a different doctor told them about the hair loss and they told me I had half the blood in my body I'm supposed to have, everyone needs to know what is going on with your body, I learned a hard lesson and I hope I will get some of my hair to grow back, your hair amazes me that length and thickness 🙏🏻💜

You videos have got me thinking about hair cuts. And if we chose the natural hair care way maybe we wouldn't need to cut our hair as often, if at all..

I've had bronchitis for the past 20 days, so I'm definitely in "sick hair care routine" right now. When I'm really sick and have to stay in bed most of the time, I often braid my hair so that, if I'm too tired to do anything with it, it won't get tangled. I think that sealing my ends is probably the thing I should focus on most, next. I've been sealing the ends with jojoba after showering for the past 2 wash days, but I think that it might be better to combine aloe vera and jojoba, because the jojoba is weighing down my fine hair and making it less wavy than usual. I should probably also try a strengthening spray because my hair texture is fragile and it has always had a lot of splits and breaks. I don't trim my hair but I do sometimes trim off the individual split ends, maybe I wouldn't have to if I used strengthening spray and sealed my ends all the time. I am taking this hair care challenge as a chance to try different things and figure out what would work best for me.

If we are on a challenge, shouldn't we be using the same things to see what works. Can we have cream and spray recipe?

But isn't coconut oil a seal for hair and anything after it struggles to absorb in the hair strands?

I have beaded hair 😢 which makes it frizzy. What kind of products can I use to make it look smoother? My hair was normal until it started turning grey/white.

I have scalp odor and ouly hair, so not having something to absorb, can cause icky smell.

This is usually a hereditary thing.
What would you suggest.
Presently, I have used dry shampoo❤
I only wash every four days.

This works for most hair right? 😅 My hair strands are thin and naturally oily but I have lots of them. My stylist said I have almost double the amount of hair she's seen on most people 😅 everyone is gonna disagree but my hair specifically needs to be washed daily or it WILL matt 😭
