arch linux was the first hard distro i used after using Ubuntu 14.04 back in high school. The problem i had with it is that i keep re-installing it allot. i find Gentoo to be my favorite distro for personal use. I would not recommend gentoo for everything, but i can make it mine and add the features i like and discard the others i don't need.

Could you do a video on the differences between arch and something like Ubuntu? I want to make the switch but I don't know anything about the rolling release model and the commands confuse me.

Sorry to bother! I need some help. My problem is that I keep my scripts in the ~/.local/bin folder, and they can execute from anywhere in the terminal. However, when I launch dmenu or rofi, these tools do not read any of my scripts in the ~/.local/bin folder; they only read the scripts I wrote in /usr/local/bin. The weird thing is that dmenu only reads my scripts if I execute dmenu_run through the terminal, but with a keybind, none of the scripts are visible.

Distro hop? Bro I only do OS hops. Switched from Windows over to (Ubuntu/Debian) Linux and now over to macOS. Soon NixOS.
