Yo, so here some things about "miswak" On wikipedia. yes, its "miswak" Not "mistwak".

The miswak is a teeth-cleaning twig made from the Salvadora persica tree. The miswak's properties have been described thus: "Apart from their antibacterial activity which may help control the formation and activity of dental plaque, they can be used effectively as a natural toothbrush for teeth cleaning. Such sticks are effective, inexpensive, common, available, and contain many medical properties"The miswak is predominant in Muslim-inhabited areas. It is commonly used in the Arabian peninsula, the Horn of Africa, North Africa, parts of the Sahel, the Indian subcontinent, and Central Asia.Studies indicate that Salvadora persica extract exhibits low antimicrobial activity compared to other oral disinfectants and anti-plaque agents like triclosan and chlorhexidine gluconate. However, the benefits of triclosan were discounted by the United States Food and Drug Administration in 2016 and its safety is uncertain as a hygiene product ingredient.[6] Chlorhexidine gluconate was also linked to serious allergic reactions, albeit rarely.

Don't use misvak it will create microscratches on your teeth because it doesn't have super smooth fibers like plastic brushes and this will allow bacteria to grow in those scratches more easily

Yes it’s very good for you to use I don’t know how white teeth will be. Most people just chew on the stick for a good hour or so whilst doing chores. As it’s good for fresh breath and keep bacteria away

Yes a very good habit to keep up. Miswak, pronunciation is spot on, no need to worry and if you have any Muslim friends, and whip this bad boy out, you’ll make them loose their sh*t 😂

Back in the days in my country we people actually use to use these to brush their teeth, in the country side. Now I think they have brushes, thought they look so interesting, I wish I could try them.
