There's been a fresh burst of interest in the moon, with three lunar missions launched in the summer of 2023 alone. Though the Russian Luna 25 mission failed, India's Chandrayaan-3 lander succeeded. Japan hopes its SLIM lander will join it on the moon in the months to come.

I wish best of luck to Japan for their lunar mission from India.

Also it's exciting to see that Japan and India will send a joint lander+rover mission to moon most likely by 2024.

Indian Lunar Lander Vikram also landed within 300 meters of its target. Very accurate landing. JAXA is trying to better that. Lets see how it goes. Although, I do wonder how JAXA chose its landing site if they are trying to attempt an accurate landing. Most likely, they are relying on the Lunar Maps created by ISRO's Chandrayaan-2 Orbiter and NASA's Lunar Recon Orbiter.

A small request to all, please don't call space exploration a race. Space exploration is for all of humanity.

Japan's advancements are amazing. Landing on the asteroid was astonishing and undervalued. Looking forward to more from Japan. Hopefully their rocket turns into a mech in space? :P Love from India.

It's exciting to see the renewed interest in lunar exploration with multiple missions launched . While the Russian Luna 25 mission faced challenges, it's encouraging to hear about the success of India's Chandrayaan-3 lander. The advancements made by these missions contribute to our understanding of the moon and pave the way for future exploration. Japan's SLIM lander's upcoming mission adds to the anticipation and potential for further discoveries. These collaborative efforts demonstrate the global interest in unlocking the mysteries of the moon and expanding our knowledge of the universe.

There are asteroids up there with rare minerals and materials worth five QUINTILLION dollars.
India, Japan, China, Europe, everyone is racing for the stars.
Meanwhile, down here in the US there are people who actually think the space doesn't exist, that it's a painting.
SMFH.
