I do some slow stretches, deep breathing & affirmations, like telling yourself that you're safe & all is well...
Ground yourself by touching the wall ( I know that sounds silly) These work for me & I hope they will for you <3

I can never fall asleep hugging someone. after 10 or 20 minutes of that I start feeling like I'm gonna die because I would need to switch sides but worry about waking them up.
