Thanks for your videos on this scanner... since you covered both the E9x and F3x generation of 3 series that was perfect as I own the same cars. This will pay for itself registering batteries alone and recently had the SES light kick on in my 2007 328i. I was up and running with the scanner in minutes!

Thank you for this review! I have spent so many hours looking for a right scanner. A lot of scanner reviews that I saw on youtube were only dealing with very basic info even on this scanner, so you could not really see what powerful capabilities they had. Yours went deeper and I was able to see that this is the type of scanner I'd need for my situation. You guys out there looking for scanners? What I have discovered is that while this Foxwell N510 (and N520) are vehicle model specific (Ford, GM, BMW....yet you can buy up to 5 different car modules that work with the same scanner) yet they are BY FAR more powerful than those generic multi vehicle scanners that can cost just as much.

Great video. Thank you for sharing. Question...I'm told this will bleed the DSC for the brakes? I've bled the calipers but need to bleed out the DSC to complete the brake bleeding process. Will this tool take care of that?

To answer all the questions below. This is a basic tool for bmw, better than most but still basic. For BMW dealer level diagnostics, setup and calibration get Rheingold ISTA - D and the specific usb to obd2 cable. This is laptop software that does everything a bmw dealer can do for diagnostics. Price of cable and software is slightly more than this device. Also it is the official Bmw software.
