I dont think people realize how risky of a decision this was. Downey had a very problematic drug problem and he could have checked back into rehab the day of. Its insane that it all worked out well

You can hear the nerves in his breathing, takes a breath then right back into his lines. They picked RDJ for this role perfectly. No one else could play that character..

Tony Stark had demons beneath his polished exterior RDJ was able to convey that with subtle expressions!!!
