Salvador's intepretation is unique and heartfelt, beautiful in its own quircky way, but - wow - this is just beautiful on another level. Voice and guitar, just perfect, preserving the bossa-nova essence while perhaps bringing the song closer to its Great American Songbook roots, with a video to match. This reminds me of what Jeff Buckley did with Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. As a Portuguese living in the Netherlands, watching and listening to this (on a loop) made my night. Beautiful, just beautiful. Bravo.

When i heard it on the surprising auditions in the voice, my tears fell. The sound is so calming and filled with love that i searched the song by lyrics. When finally searched this one, still tears fell. You got me!

Mijn eerste single! Dit is de geluidsopname van het programma Depresival waar ik mijn eerste eigen nummer heb laten horen. Het nummer gaat over depressie onder jongeren en geïnspireerd op het verhaal van Jynte. Het is de live opname van het programma, geen studio werk, gewoon 1 take, live. Ik ben erg blij met deze versie omdat ik in het moment zat en hoop het gevoel van deze jongeren een beetje heb kunnen overbrengen naar de luisteraar. Het is niet de meest opgewekte en afgewerkte eerste single maar ik hoop dat de boodschap overkomt in deze rauwe vorm.
