What is an Operator? Kubernetes & OpenShift Operators Explained.

In this video I explain what Operators are in Kubernetes and OpenShift. I cover the different components of the Operator Pattern and how they work together to make up an Operator. I show how each component contributes to the overall pattern and ultimately delivers value in excess of what Kubernetes native resources can provide.

When i go to operator framework website, it says i can build operator using Go, Helm, and ansible. Does that eman i cannot use other languages like java?
If yes, why isn't it listed with the above? This really confuses me and i feel like i am really missing something with my understanding
