Wow looking back on this a lot has changed with some of these groups/people:

-Tobuscus fell out of the limelight
-Pewdiepie isn’t a game focused channel anymore and hit 100 million
-SkydoesMinecraft quit Minecraft to make music under the name Netnobody
-Anthony has left Smosh to do his own thing
-Crit has done a face reveal and his real name is Charlie and is one of four hosts for a bomb podcast.

Really the only same people are the Grumps and Mark. It’s amazing what has happened since this video was uploaded

Came back to this in 2020 and I think it deserves a reboot

Man, this video is such a blast from the past. It's crazy to see how literally every single one of these YTers have changed for better or worse.
Toby got huge accusations and even when it was over, just never changed or matured past his persona and thus fell off with his fans not trusting and outgrowing him.
Smosh is now broken up and while Ian still leads it, the whole cast is changed on the gaming channel and the main channel just doesn't have the same heart as when Anthony was around. And Anthony is now doing is own thing and is almost the Opera of YT now with so many insightful interviews with people. Sky is doing music now and had a lot of drama with his wife and other stuff.
The Grumps, while funnily enough changing the least out of everyone, has had so many controversies and criticisms through the ages, along with different people coming in and out of the team, that it lost a lot of heart it had at the start. Plus, while Danny still seems alright, the only thing he got into being the ghosting of that one legal fan, Arin and Susie are really problematic nowadays and like, you feel guilty watching GGs now with everything that's happened behind the scenes we chalked up to "human error." And Jon has had his own drama.
The only ones who changed for the better were Mark, Felix and Charlie. And it's wild to think this was back when Felix was only at 25 mil subs, Charlie was anonymous with his appearance and Mark was... Younger, I guess lol. But all of them have changed and matured so much. Mark is one of the most successful, hard working, dedicated and genuine people on YT who makes some of the highest quality original YouTube stuff as of now like with his "With Markiplier" stuff and has remained constant in his gaming and personality.
Charlie hasn't changed too much but really has been the bigger man in a lot of things. And has really kept up with his kind of humor through everything and it's nice to see him doing things with his content and his friends that he genuinely loves to do.
And Felix is like... Wow, man. Talking about a "boy becoming a man" storyline. We loved him for the immaturity when we were younger and through it all, we grew up with him. Through his drama and seeing him be the bigger man through it all, seeing him become a more genuine person while keeping up with entertaining content in his own way, and damn man now he's married and living in Japan.

All of that is just like, wild man. It's crazy to think that these people in this video we just thought were going to be at the top of the food chain in YT forever and that'd be it. And now new faces are in the scene for better and worst depending on who you're talking about, some associated with a few of these YTers, some that were relevant around their time grew even more... Man, that is just crazy to think about and see man. What a time capsule.

Wow. Things have really changed since this video first released.
-Tobuscus fell out of relevancy
- Pewdiepie isn't the biggest youtuber on the platform anymore
-Smosh broke up and got together again
-Markiplier is now making a movie
-Cr1tikal has a face and is mainly a commentary channel now

Not gonna lie, it took me two years to try and find this again because this was one of the first videos I've ever seen on youtube, before I could even comment! I was genuinely shocked at other youtubers joining in, it was a twist I wasn't expecting. I still love this as you can tell, over here coming from 2019 to visit a video I haven't seen in 5 years! This was still really fun to watch and thank you for making it! :)

I don't understand why 1, 711 people dislike this, these guys have a lot of talent and work pretty hard on these rap battles, I'm pretty sure I'm around their age and I can't really do the things they do. You guys keep doing what you're doing, because you guys are awesome!

A decade later…
-PewDiePie is still doing fine. He was hit by many controversies, but continued to thrive. He’s hit 50 and then 100 million subs. Nowadays he isn’t growing as much, being stuck at 111M for two years. Despite this, he’s still beloved by the YouTube community and relevant for many. He’s now a husband and father living happily semi retired in Japan.
-Tobuscus is complete irrelevant. Ever since his r#pe allegations, he’s fallen of the spotlight. Now, he’s semi active on his channels. Most of these videos are rants.
-Smosh continued to good after this video. Tho their content wasn’t as good as it used to be. Anthony would eventually quit due to the corporation that bought Smosh destroying his creative freedom. This corporation would eventually go bankrupt after Anthony’s departure, leaving Smosh without a home. Rhett and Link of Mythical Entertainment would eventually buy Smosh. Anthony would do extremely well on his own, starting an interview series called “I spent a day with” that was praised, and would garner him 7 million subscribers. Ian would lead Smosh, which was doing decent, tho different than what it’s used to be. The main channel struggled, tho the second channel did very well. The cast members introduced, who were initially not well liked, garnered their own fans and became beloved on the channels. Eventually, Anthony would reunite with Ian and became friends again, and would buy Smosh. The channel is now doing well, with skits returning, the cast being happier than ever, Anthony and Ian being hilarious together, and even a podcast with Ian and Anthony reacting to their old videos and inviting/interviewing OG YouTubers.
-Markiplier did amazing, now having 36M subsxribers and being one of the biggest YouTubers of all time. Although he continued to make gaming videos to this day, Mark would innovate beyond, such as the experimental Unnus Annus, creating interactive tv shows (In Space, A Date, A Heist) and even directing a movie based on a popular horror game called Iron Lung. Between that and his amazing charity work, Mark has been drama free, despite his large size.
-Sky Does Everything would fall of completely after this video. The popularity of Minecraft saw a decrease, and TeamCrafted completely fallen apart. With Ssundee being the only one thriving, long surpassing Sky with over 20 million subs. Sky would eventually try to move on to Music to a new persona named NetNobody, where they had an online beef with KSI, and would private all of his vids on his main channel before bringing it back a month later. Sky would eventually return to content creation, branching out and becoming “Sky Does Everhthing”. Sky would be revealed as being extremely abusive and awful in early 2022 by their ex, destroying his reputation and has since become hated by the community.
GameGrumps: gamegrumps is doing ok, tho has been embroiled into frequent controversy, such as with one of their editors, Ben. Additionally many believe the channel as fallen off in quality. JonTron has also had a mixed legacy after this. On one hand, his videos continued to be beloved, even after sopping game reviews. One of these videos on “Flex Tape” would go viral. But he also was revealed to be a racist and a bigot, and his channel sub count has been limbo since last year. Not to mention an inconsistent upload schedule.
-Critikal would do amazing after this video. He’s no longer faceless, face revealing in 2017. Eventually would grow out his hair, jokingly being called Jesus. He’d transfer his content from gaming to commentary, tho he still does gaming when he streams. Critikal’s style, when it comes to thumbnails, description, attitude and style of humor hasn’t changed. Just with more variety. He’d eventually become so popular he’d pass 10 million subscribers. Despite many not knowing who he was in this vid, now he’s one of the most relevant and acclaimed YouTubers, with many saying he’s the last “true YouTuber”. He’d also be a musician.

Don’t know why I wrote all this but whatever lol.
