Just got mine today and took it for a run and got pretty deep and no problems. Already ordered a new steering servo.

It's a good truck! The steering servo is it's weakness. If you get one be prepared to replace the steering servo. Mine lasted till the second trail run then died.... in the middle of a stream that I then had to go wading in to revover the truck.

Thank you for doing this! Will you post a follow up to see how the electrics held up? For this reason I haven't gone into water above the center skid plate lol. I have conformal coating I want to use though so can dive into the deep end lol. Awesome video! Liked+subscribed

This thing is nice! Wish i had a closer hobby store near me. Closest one is rc car world. You might of heard of it. Its in willingborough, NJ. Nice they let you borrow it every weekend

My trx4 does not go forward or backwards after going in the water it only turns. Do you now how to fix that?

It’s waterproof tho lol
Reason why factory are saying it’s not fully waterproof but water resistance is because when car gets broken because of water, they don’t want to take any responsibility’s.
So basically it made to drive like an submarine 😂
That’s why i drive in a deep water😅
But be careful when driving In the mud, mud can get into motor and get stuck.
Traxxas motors are waterproof so don’t worry.
Btw is you rc in the video factory stock?

When I drove my Rc trx4 into a river like that it just exploded lol I’ve gone through 5 motors, two servos, one steering arm and two sets of bearings 🤦🏻‍♂️
