This video sums up the entire 3 days of mountaineering expedition at Mt. Baker.

Base camp - Day 1: We left Alpine Ascents International office in Seattle around 6am. It took us about 2 1/2hrs drive to reach Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Elevation at the Park Butte trailhead is 3250ft.
We started the hike towards base camp at 9:30. It took us roughly about 3 1/2 hrs to reach base camp at ~6000ft. As we arrived at base camp, we got into snow school training which lasted for another few hours. Had dinner around 6pm and went to sleep by 9pm. Sleep was shaky as uncomfortable in the sleeping bag.

Summit - Day 2: Woke up at 4am packed all our gear, ate breakfast and ready to start the mountaineering journey towards Mt. Baker glacier at 5:40am. Our lead guide opted to take us via the “Easton Glacier route”. We were a group of 9 + 3 guides. We were broken into groups of 3 with a total of 4 people on each rope line.
We took a total of 3 breaks every hour, our last break before the summit was at ~8000ft at the “Crater”. The most challenging part of the climb was “The Roman Wall” which is the last stretch before reaching Summit. This portion will daunt you if you are to look at the peak while climbing.

It took us roughly 7hours to ascend and reach summit at 10,781 ft high. The views were one of the best I have ever seen from up above.. We started to descent towards base camp after being on the summit for a good 15mins. It took us a total of 11hours to complete the trek on day 2. This was certainly a very exhausting day. We celebrated, had dinner and passed out.

Day 3: Woke up at 7am, packed all our gear and ready to make our way back down to the trailhead by 9am. It took us 3hours to get back to the trailhead.

Our group was fortunate to have one of the best lead guides “Jangbu Sherpa” who has summited Mt. Everest 5 times along with Ryan and Todd who had great knowledge on avalanches and mountaineering.

This entire experience was certainly a remarkable feat for us. One we will cherish for a lifetime.
