Hi Graham and Wendy, another slapstick comedy. It could only happen to you crunching the chalk into the floor, John would do something like that. I hope it came off ok. A good idea from Paul, cosori corner. That happened to me the other week with my old air fryer. I had made a tea bread loaf, I'd tried the paper liner in the basket so thought the tin would fit but when i went to put it in the basket it wouldn't fit so i had to put it in a round tin so instead of having a deep loaf tin shape i had a flat round one. So I thought when i got the new cosori with having no basket they would fit. I have two 2 lb loaf tins and they both won't fit, it's because of the lip on either side, i wouldn't care I had an older tin with no lip on which i threw out when I got the new ones. I'll have to get John on the job. Anyway the cake looked lovely, i often buy the box cakes when they are on offer. I've been in touch with my specialist about my thyroid, the Secretary said to get some blood tests done first and if they are alright i needn't see him. Sandra

Hey that looks bliddy lovely Graham. It's great hearing Wendy laughing in the background, it always makes me smile. Graham I do all my baking on the set button, but just get use to your own minutes as no way can a cake be cooked in a loaf tin for 20 mins. I have just made my weekly banana cake and 1 for my son. So going to make a this one tomorrow, but will make it from scratch. Going to watch you sweet & sour now, for another idea. Yous two really are a great double act, and it makes my day hearing yous laugh together. 👋Wendy 😊😘

Hi Graham I've just noticed your comment on using margerine, i always use Bertolli, i read it's supposed to be better for you. I use it in baking and on sandwiches but i do use butter on scones and crumpets

SO pleased you have got your new Cosori, will be VERY interested to see how you get on with it. I am thinking of getting a Dual Blaze in the near future so will be watching you with great expectation!! I too want to make cakes in it so will look forward to seeing what you produce. Keep up the good work Graham, you are an inspiration to all. With very good wishes to you and your lovely wife. Carol from Devon!

I cook cakes all the time in the cosori dual blaze I use the round tin I find that if you cook it on bake 150c on the crisper tray it cooks better as it cooks in the middle but not so brown on the top of the cake also the bottom won't burn as it has better air flow enjoy your new airfryer I'm glad you went with the dual blaze it's a brilliant machine 👌

Hi Graham and Wendy, your cake looks lovely. Hope it was very tasty. Personally I would have bought all the raw ingredients, flour, caster sugar, eggs and butter, because you can make even more cakes that way. I never touch margarine, and this is a true fact, it has all the molecules of plastic and is only one molecule away from being paint. Now just think of that, spreading melted plastic on your toast. No thanks I'll stick to butter. Glad to see you getting to grips with your new cosori, not sure if you should have left the crisper plate in, to help the air circulation, and raise the cake tin off the bottom of the cosori draw, if it would have cooked better. Haven't made a cake in mine yet, shall have to try it. Enjoy your dinner 👍

Plastic boards can harbour bacteria, despite how clean you think they are. Wooden boards kill bacteria. "A study by University of Wisconsin study found that bacteria including salmonella did not survive on wooden cutting boards when left overnight. However, on a plastic board, the bacteria thrived and multiplied. Another study found that people were more likely to fall ill if using a plastic chopping board. Wooden chopping boards are less likely to have severe dents where bacteria can grow, unlike plastic boards, which wear out quickly"
